If you are driving to REC Retreats, consider making the journey part of the adventure. We have suggestions for unique stops along the way. There are art galleries; quaint cafés; unique boutiques; bakeries, cheese factories and berry farms (all offering samples!); there is even a one-of-a-kind shellfish farm!

If you are flying in to attend a REC Retreats event, allow us to help you arrange travel to/from the airport. 

REC Retreats is located only 0.6 miles from the ferry. If you would like to park on the mainland, walk on the ferry and take an easy stroll to REC Retreats, you can save yourself a few dollars and possibly, a few minutes.

There is no gas station on the island, but there is one at the mainland ferry dock (Gooseberry Point). Plan accordingly.

The WTA bus stops right at Gooseberry Point. The bus route number is 50 and the schedule can be found here. Please be cognizant of connection times. If the bus is late, the ferry won’t wait. However, if the ferry is late, the bus will wait (just tell the captain you are trying to catch the bus.)
